The Horse Trainer, The One, the Mother, and the Cosmetologist

Dream Numbers 16, 17, 18, and 19: Maybe four at a time?

Dream Number 16: Being a horse trainer could be nice, I like horses anyways right? I'm just worried about injuries. They got a lot of power in them, a whole lot of pure muscle that weighs a lot more than me.

Dream Number 17: I will be the one that makes the difference.

Dream Number 18: I WILL be a Mother.

The greatest Mom anyone could ever ask for. :)

Dream Number 19: I'm pretty sure I would definitely love to do Cosmetology, and I'm actually going to take classes for it at the DATC.

That's all folks! Other than that, just working and making lots of new friends! Oh, and by the way, I was super super STOKED to find out today that the High Councelor in my singles ward is Jon Schmidt. Can I get a heck yeah? :)

Anyways, make tomorrow be the best Monday possible! Imagine it being Friday :)

The Vet Tech, the Professional Horseback Rider, and the Exotic Animal Trainer

Dreams 13, 14, and 15: Did I not say these would be three at a time?

Dream Number 13: I would love to be a Vet Tech, being able to help animals for those that have a fighting chance would be an awesome way to live my life every day.

Tell me you wouldn't give this puppy anything it wanted,
and look it in the eyes while saying it. Very doubtful.

Dream Number 14: I would love to be a Professional Horseback Rider :)

Jumping horses is actually one of my all time favorite things to do.

Dream Number 15: I would love to be an Exotic Animal Trainer, seriously, how amazing would it be to  work with animals every day that most people don't get to even come close to? That's practically a double win, I would work with animals AND be an Exotic Trainer.

Worth it :)

Have a wonderful day!

Maybe some Landscape Design?

Dream Number 12: I think it would be pretty cool to get into landscape design.

Sadly, for some wierd reason, blogger is not accepting my picture uploads at the time being. So, in one of my other dreams I will track back to this one and show everyone the 4 minute picture I drew. :)

But, I would love to design backyards especially. One of the houses I lived in had an amazing backyard and I took it for granted. There was a waterfall, a pond, even a bridge going over it, with plenty of room to run around and a trampoline added later on, it was gorgeous.

More split shifts this week, but, I'm hanging in there, and it's good money and good hours :)
Plus the people I work with are really fun, so it's kind of like hanging out a lot and making money for it.

Have a wonderful Monday tomorrow!

The Photographer, Hip Hop Dancer, and Radio Host

Dream Numbers 9, 10, and 11: Obviously we're doing these dreams three at a time since my schedule is so crazy haha

Dream Number 9: I would love to be a photographer, even as just a side job.

It's the little details that most people miss.

Did anyone else think "Dog pile" when they saw this?

It's the fact that most people see animals, such as tigers, as dangerous and beautiful,
when really, their a lot like us, there is so much more to them than that.

That is why I would love to be a photographer, to capture those moments in nature that we are all so convinced we know, but there is this whole other side that isn't even clicking through our minds. Any great moment can be caught.

Dream Number 10: I would love to be a hip hop dancer, not just hip hop, I would like to do a mix of hip hop and ballet.

Dream Number 11: I would love to be a Radio Host, I talk really loud and all the time anyway right? Might as well make money for it ;)

Other than that, nothing too big. I'm just working like crazy doing double shifts and all that fun stuff. I haven't seen my puppy a lot, and I hate that, but hopefully I will find a way to get good hours without the double shifts.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! :)

The Inventor, Journalist, and English Teacher

Dream Number 6, 7, and 8: I sincerely apologize for not updating my dreams every day, it has been busy, but here is the new stuff!

Dream Number 6: I would love to be an Inventor.

I would like to be a person to come up with new and creative things, even if it's just an inspiring idea, that idea still jumped off mine. :)

Dream Number 7: I would love to be a Journalist.

One of my bigger dreams is to be involved in Journalism. I love writing, hearing stories, and putting a story in my own words.

Dream Number 8: I would love to be a High School English Teacher, also one of my bigger dreams.

This was my 9th grade English Teacher.

He inspired me more than any other teacher I've ever had, hands down. It's not just me either, students like him so much that they've created a fanpage for him. He taught English, but it was along side many life lessons. If I become an English Teacher, I want to teach the way that he does. I remember him reading, "Tom Sawyer" to the class, and he wouldn't just read, one day he actually showed up dressed like Tom Sawyer.

Another thing I will never forget, is when he showed us a list of crazy things like looking for ghosts in graveyards and other amazing tales. He asked us to check off each adventure on the list that we'd actually done, few of us got past 5. He had done every adventure on that list, he told us that up until now, we've only been existing, not actually living, because society is slowly forgetting what living is all about, it's more than just t.v. and cell phones.

He knew the way to get the students' attention, and make it easier for us to learn, as well as easier for us to want to learn. He also would drive an hour every day for his job, just because he enjoyed teaching us. That right there, is someone truly incredible.

Other than that, I've just been working the new job this week and loving it :)

Lights, Camera... ACTION!!!!

Dream Number 5: I would love to be a movie director.

I'm not entirely sure why I would like to be a movie director, but a dream is a dream, yeah? :)

I apologize for not uploading this yesterday, I was being a slacker. So... there will be 2 dream posts today! Hooray!! Only the other one will be later.

Started my first day at work today, it was like I never even left :)

The Wedding Planner

Dream number 4: I would love to be a Wedding Planner.

No I didn't take this, I wish!

I think it would be amazing to be a Wedding Planner, especially since I am passionate about a lot of things and definitely a helpless romantic, I figure, why not?

Today, I was lucky to spend the day with my Dad :)  it was a lot of fun, we got disposable cameras and took pictures at the Bird Festival. Believe it or not, I actually do find it interesting to look at birds up close like that, and sadly enough, I named what most of them were. Depressing, isn't it?

After that, we went and got food from Five Guys, which that place is always fun of course, as well as amazingly delicious!

Overall a wonderful day :)

Cartooning it up, with a special tribute :)

Dream Number 3: I would love to be a cartoonist.

Funny characters I created in about 60 seconds :)

Plus a very special tribute!!!

I wanted to draw a tribute cartoon today for my step sister and her fiance,
it's official tonight that they are engaged! Congratulations to both of you!!! :)
You guys will be the greatest married couple that's existed ;)

Anyways, that's the big news for today!
Oh and I got a job. Boo-ya :)

Music is my Life

Dream Number 2: I would love to write lyrics for others to sing around the world.

Today, or technically yesterday, I went to the park with Miss Taliyah Rose :) and my BEAR BOY!

"Cheese!!!"

I'm not going to lie, I totally cheated and put Bear up there, but we'll
pretend like it's a natural shot ;)

Taliyah had lots of fun digging in the dirt like a puppy, Bear had
lots of fun assisting and sniffing for treasure wherever she just dug.

Overall...

Absolutely great day! :)

Is she sleeping, or acting?

Dream number one: I would love to be an actress.

Here I am, pretending to be an exhausted college student who fell asleep eating yogurt and doing homework. Yes, Bear is licking the yogurt off of my spoon while I'm sleeping. :)

As far as other things go, today I hung out with my good friend Kris. We made chocolate chip cookies! :D

Wearing my Mom's Grandmother aprons :)

They were delicious, in case you were wondering.

Also, went and saw Something Borrowed. That movie is hilarious, if you go see it, please make sure to stay for the end credits so you can watch the clip at the end of them. I really hope that they follow up with a sequal.

John Krasinski, completely makes the story. You will laugh pretty hard at his actions and words through out the movie. I even got lost in the comedy of his character, (though he's not the star character, he just plays a big minor), and started saying things out loud like I was there, embarrassing right? So it's a pretty great thing not too many people were sitting around me.

Anyways, Signing out!

What to say?

Obviously it's been a while, updates you ask? I moved back to Utah almost 2 months ago, and yes I brought my new puppy with me :)

His name is Bear, and he is the greatest ever :)

He looks a little different than that now, this was the first picture I took of him the day that I got him.

Somehow, he managed to get even fluffier.

He is my baby boy. His full name is Bear Boy Currie :)  and he does actually believe he's a bear, along with a million other animals that don't belong in a typical household.

Back in Utah, things are great, I'm just job hunting, well sort of. More like I'm slacking at job hunting, but then that's just getting picky.

Pretty soon here, once I get this blog to be a little more pretty, I am going to start a challenge that my sister, Suzanna actually encouraged. Each day, I am going to post a dream of something that I have, this will go on for one month. Every dream will include a fun and exciting photo, so make sure you're up bright and early to look!!! :D Just kidding. Sleep in, it will still be there I promise.

Getting Back Into Old Hobbies

Alright folks, I officially started horseback riding lessons again as of today! My goal is to be able to go once a week, most likely on Thursdays considering that's when I don't work and I would like to hang out with friends on weekends. And yes, for those of you wondering, I do have friends now :) Not many, but still counting! I'm going to hang out with the first one this saturday, we're going paragliding! Well, if the weather is good. *silent prayer to self* please don't die, please don't die.

Anyways, I am very excited and absolutely loving my life up here! :) I'm just doing a couple morning classes for college then heading off to work an hour later, and then coming home and doing laundry late at night, of course.

For an update from the last post, things are still a little edgy, but Will is finally coming home, and I hate to admit it but I do miss the little sucker, along with Brandon who is "temporarily" moving back to Oregon. I am so excited to have them home. :)

For updates with my job, Jaylee ran into a corner of a dresser drawer this week, cut her lip, both inside and outside, and her gums. It was a pretty nasty cut, and it was amazing how my adrenaline kicked in. I thought she needed stitches so I ended up calling the Mom who came home, it was a close call but she was fine without them. Jackson behaved so well when it happened, he knew it was not the time for messing around because Jaylee was seriously hurt, and he even helped me distract her with a unicorn story so I could put ice on it and help her stop crying. :) Those kids mean a lot to me, I was so insanely worried about Jaylee, even though I knew it wasn't a life or death situation. I can only imagine what the feeling is going to be like when it's my own kids, ten times stronger at least. The next day, there was also more bleeding from the mouth, but it was because Jackson lost a tooth so it was okay. :) That was very exciting, he got coins and art stuff! I think I found the tooth fairies favorite haha ;)

Anyways, I will try to post pictures of paragliding (if the weather lets us) and horseback riding soon! Enjoy your weekends!

With Tragedy, Follows Trial

Alright well, a tragedy has hit in Will's family, it is none of my business to say so I'm not going to, but it is something that has even effected me a little, just because I care about his family so much. I came home from school yesterday to find out, and then Shae used most of her money to buy Will a plane ticket back to Utah within the next four hours. So, four hours later, we took Will to the airport with hugs and prayers, we aren't too sure when he will be returning. We're hoping for the best, and that he will come home on Tuesday at the latest.

Although Will is going through the hardest time of his life, he still is carrying that humor that is making everything bearable for him. Yesterday when everyone was in tears, he could tell I was about to cry, so while hugging Shae he started joking with me about how I better keep the house clean while he is gone or he'll have to beat me. Him and I joke like that all the time, so it made us both smile a little. About an hour and a half before he left for the airport, once he had returned to the apartment, the three of us just sat there in silence for the longest time. No one needed to say anything because we were all thinking the same things. We probably sat there for a good forty minutes before Will said we should put in a movie so he doesn't have to think about what's going on. So we all watched the movie, Grown Ups, until it was time to leave for the airport.

It is a little funny how concerned Will is about Shae and I being by ourselves for a little bit though. Will laid out some ground rules for us, which he is absolutely serious about, no partying (because you know that happens all the time.), keep the house clean, the maintenance guy isn't allowed inside the apartment no matter what he says (he has been trying to fix a pipe in our apartment the past week), and my specific rule from Will, no boys over, even the nice one from church. Before he boarded the plane, Will asked, "You guys going to be okay without me for a little bit?" We just laughed and said, "Yeah." Then he started teasing us, "You guys are probably going to have a slumber party in the living room and just lay out some blankets so neither of you have to feel alone in your rooms." Shae assured him that wouldn't happen, after watching a couple movies and eating lots of peanut butter M&Ms, as well as starbursts, that's definitely what happened anyways. I think it made both of us feel better.

Anyways, that would be my thoughts right now.

Every Day Learnings

Well, I had a few well learned lessons yesterday that I figured I would share with the rest of the class. Just a fair warning, Jaylee really is a sweetheart, yesterday was just one of them days for her though.

I learned that:

  • (When Jaylee broke a plate) super glue really is super, and will take about twenty four hours to get off of your skin, so don't touch it.
  • Everyone warned me about how Jackson will really test me and my authority, but nobody warned me about Jaylee.
  • When Jaylee misbehaves, Jackson's older brother instinct kicks in and he knows he needs to step away from the problem and help me out.
  • Sometimes sending the kids to their rooms just isn't good enough, and you catch yourself running out of threats. So, in your mind you're thinking something like this, "I've threatened time out, I've threatened double time out, I've threatened taking away a bedtime story... What am I supposed to say now? If you don't get to your room in 5 seconds I don't know what is going to happen, but it will be something bad so be warned! Or afraid. Whatever works."
  •  Jaylee enjoys making her brother and I mad.
  • I also learned that even when I've absolutely had it with Jaylee, she could still do the simplest thing to make me laugh.
  • Jackson is capable of saving the day.
  • Oh, and I learned that I can barbecue a dang good chicken :)
Wonderful news for today:
-After Jackson used his fortune teller on me about 5 minutes ago, and going through number after number, he has revealed to me that I will have the privilege of being Ironwoman. Dang straight. :)
-Funny quote? Jackson: "I changed my mind (about dressing up) I'm going to be a famous toy maker." Me: "Oh do you work with Santa?" Jackson: *giggle* "I'm not THAT famous."

Okay so maybe it wasn't as funny to you as it was to me, but it was just so cute I had to share. :)

Jaylee wanted a full princess body shot haha

Alright I think that's enough for one day,

My Test

Okay ladies and gentlemen, let's be honest with each other, I truly have just about the perfect life that I could have and afford right now. I moved out right after high school having no money saved up what-so-ever, I moved to a different state where I didn't have any friends (other than the family I moved in with) 2 months after I decided to move here. I was able to find a job the second week I was here, I was able to find a better job with better hours right when my seasonal position would have ended at Toys R Us, AND I was able to move out into my own apartment with a couple of friends 2 months and 2 weeks after moving here. I'm not in debt, I'm considered a full time student in College, and I officially have friends that want to hang out. Not many, but there is a small group starting to form :)

Don't get me wrong, I definitely have some times where I get insanely frustrated, times where I think I will completely fail and have to turn back, times where I swear I'm going to throw the closest heavy object at Will's head, times where Shae and I don't want to fight but have a problem, but right before I hit rock bottom the perfect opportunity opens up, and I continue moving forward,  on a better path.

Living with a serious couple? SUPER challenging, and in many ways it's actually good that it frustrates me sometimes. Before I moved here, I was afraid to be mad, I don't like fighting and so I would put myself in a lower position to where I would do anything I could to stop any sort of fighting. Even, if it never let me get out how it really made me feel. My roommates, Will and Shae, encourage it in a way, they know that when I let things build up, I need to yell and vent until we come to a compromise. By doing this, they've been teaching me, as well as telling me, that my opinion is important and I can't hide my emotions behind anything. I've really done a lot of discovering with who I am. :)

 On a side note:
It is absolutely hilarious, to live with Will and Shae, as well as be a Nanny for the family I work for. Mostly, because I realize that the three of us, are about the same as the kids. Will fights me every day to go to school (no excuse I've used has even phased him yet.) he also fights Shae every night to get ready for bed, we fight Will to listen to his own rules, if any of us aren't in a good mood and aren't sharing why, no card games that night until you're happy and the problem is fixed. We even eat ham and cheese hot pockets for lunch with some scrabble cheez-its, I'll get excited and spell out words with my scrabble cheez-its like, "BAM", just because I think it's fun to show it to them and say, "Check this out *turns the plate so they can see* BAM!"

Of course, I find it funnier than they do, but that's besides the point. It's also the personalities sometimes, Jaylee, thinks she's the boss, Shae is pretty darn sure she wears the pants. Jackson is a born leader, with new ideas for everything,  and Will is a headstrong leader who can fix anything, or build anything you ask him to. Even when the three of us fight, which generally it's not often that all three of us are going at it, but even when that happens we're still like the kids I babysit, we all care about each other so it always works its way out. Just like if Jackson hurts Jaylee's feelings, he knows and cares, so the problem gets fixed instantly.

When it comes down to it, us three communicating about our lives or showing that we care, is what makes the biggest difference in how happy we are overall. Kind of interesting to think about.

Done writing my novel,

Just So Everyone Knows

So, I have said that I will post pictures of my apartment soon, which I am going to try and do that this weekend. Right now, I have just about finished painting my room, and I just need to put the sticker designs on the bottom part of my wall. :) We also officially have a kitchen table and a big couch in the living room! Rather than just a banana chair and a t.v., oh the joy of first apartments ;)

As far as babysitting goes, it's pretty nice so far. I really like the kids and they always have a way of cheering me up if I come to work in a bad mood. It is difficult with them not being able to watch t.v., but they've had that rule for so long that they just know what to do when they get home from school, rather than me finding things for them to do, which is also nice. :)

Tonight I'm baking chicken in the oven with seasoning! Wish me luck!

Since my updates have been requested

Well, first off, I would like to thank my most amazing, and apparently BEST big sister, for updating my blog for me ;) That was pretty hilarious, so I'm going to start updating this more.

As far as everything listed in the last post from my sister, it is all correct. I had my first day as the Nanny today and it went quite well I should say :) Lots of busy work because it is a 6 year old boy and a 4 year old girl, who do make messes, but it was fun. I think the funniest part was when Jaylee destroyed her third flower of the day. The first one was lost, the second one got lost in the kids fort hotel, and the third one she vaccumed up and started crying like everything was over. It was so cute, I had such a hard time not laughing.

There is lots of house work because the kids like to change outfits often, so lots of laundry, and I end up cleaning the top floor twice, so we'll see if I can try to get it done faster. Luckily today I didn't have to make dinner because their mother was kind enough to put it in a crockpot for me. :)

I will post pictures of my apartment with in the next few days!
